Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Mgr. - Card Operations & Strategy Integration to support one of the nation’s largest federal credit unions, serving millions of members across the U.S. with a longstanding presence in the financial services industry. This role is a fully onsite position that can be performed from McLean, VA *OR* San Antonio, TX *OR* Omaha, NB

This role serves as the subject matter expert for card processing ecosystems and is accountable for ensuring the successful migration and integration of acquired card portfolios across card servicing platforms, networks, operational processes, and supporting technologies. The ideal candidate possesses extensive hands‑on experience executing complex credit card conversions and merger integrations, including data mapping, platform testing, operational readiness, production cutover, and post‑implementation stabilization.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Mgr. - Card Operations & Strategy Integration:

Lead end-to-end technical integration and conversion activities for credit card portfolios acquired through mergers, acquisitions, portfolio transfers, and other strategic initiatives.

Assess acquired card platforms, servicing environments, data structures, and operational workflows to define integration requirements, conversion strategies, dependencies, and risks.

Lead card and member data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, portfolio balancing, and transfer between source and target platforms.

Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), conversion rehearsals, production cutover, and post-conversion stabilization, driving issue resolution and defect remediation throughout implementation.

Partner across Card Operations, Technology, PMO, Risk, Compliance, Digital, Fraud, and external processors/vendors to integrate card servicing functions including billing, rewards, disputes, fraud, collections, and digital servicing.

Develop and maintain integration roadmaps, conversion requirements, technical documentation, readiness plans, and risk mitigation strategies while identifying opportunities to automate and improve integration processes.

Qualifications for the Sr. Mgr. - Card Operations & Strategy Integration:

7+ years of experience in credit card operations, payment processing, card platform management, systems/data integration, or financial services technology, with direct experience supporting complex card conversion or transformation initiatives.

Hands‑on experience with M&A integrations, credit card portfolio conversions, processor migrations, replatforming, or large‑scale account migrations, ideally supporting integrations from planning/due diligence through production cutover and stabilization.

Strong experience with card/member data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and migration, including working with large account datasets and complex source/target data structures.

Experience executing SIT, UAT, parallel/conversion testing, production implementation, cutover, and post-conversion issue remediation across integrated systems.

Strong understanding of credit card processing and servicing environments, including platform interfaces and operational functions such as billing/statements, rewards, fraud, disputes/chargebacks, collections, and digital servicing.

Preferred: Experience with SQL, ETL, data integration, or data migration tools supporting large and complex datasets.

Experience supporting Visa, Mastercard, or American Express processing environments and servicing requirements.

Prior experience supporting M&A integrations within banking, credit unions, payments, or financial services.

Experience with Fiserv/First Data, FIS/TSYS, Jack Henry, Hogan, or similar card processing platforms.

Experience using AI or automation tools to support data mapping, data matching, validation, reconciliation, or other integration activities.

Compensation for the Sr. Mgr. - Card Operations & Strategy Integration:

Salary Range: Up to $140,000 - $170,000 *depending on experience*
