$270K+ Base | Flexible Based On Experience
A respected California law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment attorney to join its growing practice in Oakland or San Diego .
This is a strong opportunity for a seasoned employment litigator who also has meaningful experience with workplace investigations, employee relations, labor relations, and employer-side counseling .
The Role
Handle complex employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour matters
Manage class actions and PAGA disputes
Conduct and oversee workplace investigations
Advise employers on California and federal employment laws
Handle depositions, arbitrations, trials, and other contested matters
Counsel clients on employee relations, labor relations, leave issues, and workplace policies
Advise on ADA/FEHA, FMLA/CFRA, wage & hour, and related employment matters
The Ideal Background
Seasoned Labor & Employment attorney with strong employer-side experience
Trial and/or arbitration experience
Meaningful labor relations or employee relations experience
Experience sitting at the intersection of litigation, investigations, and employment counseling
Deep knowledge of California employment law, including ADA/FEHA, FMLA/CFRA, leave, and wage & hour
Strong client counseling and communication skills
Compensation
$270,000+ base salary , with flexibility based on experience and qualifications
