Senior Product Manager | White Plains, NY | $123,000 to $153,000/year, Hybrid
A multi-billion dollar global technology leader in the chemical industry is seeking a Senior Product Manager to manage overall product lines and ensure material availability in support of business growth. This role combines classic product management with significant supply chain, plant coordination, and operational execution responsibilities, managing product lifecycles from new product registration through commercialization and scale-up.
What You'll Do:
Support product portfolio priorities, new product registration, commercialization, and scale-up
Coordinate Sales, Technical, Product Development, Purchasing, Planning, and Manufacturing activities
Own demand planning by integrating forecasts, sales, inventory, and supply constraints
Monitor production schedules, inventory, and customer orders, communicating risks and recovery actions
Serve as primary commercial interface with the plant and manufacturing organization
Own inventory levels, lead MRB reviews, and develop disposition and rebalancing plans
Directly manage Customer Service personnel, including staffing, training, and performance management
Establish and monitor Customer Service measures for order accuracy, cycle time, and satisfaction
What You'll Need:
College degree in business or a technology-related field
5 to 10 years of experience in a chemical-related business, in supply chain, product management, or planning
Elevated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
SAP experience (S/4HANA preferred)
Ability to analyze sales data and recommend supply actions
Direct customer experience
Supervisory experience
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
Nice to Have:
S/4HANA experience specifically
Customer and prospect presentation experience
Strong negotiation skills
Compensation and Benefits:
$123,000 to $153,000 per year based on experience, plus sign-on bonus, annual bonus potential of 8 to 12%, relocation assistance, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
