Senior Product Manager, Payer Solutions
Remote
Salary- $180,000-200,000
Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing evolution of our payer-focused digital products. This role combines product management, client delivery, and solution leadership, serving as a key bridge between clients, engineering teams, and internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring healthcare payer experience and a strong understanding of member-facing digital experiences. This individual will be responsible for translating client needs into scalable product capabilities, managing implementations, supporting sales efforts, and driving the continued growth of our payer product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Product Management
Own and drive the roadmap for payer-focused digital products.
Define, prioritize, and manage product requirements based on client feedback, market opportunities, and business objectives.
Partner closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
Use implementation and client insights to inform product enhancements and future development.
Client Delivery & Implementation
Lead discovery sessions and requirements gathering with payer clients.
Serve as a trusted partner throughout implementation and rollout activities.
Manage client-specific needs while maintaining alignment with core product strategy.
Ensure successful delivery of solutions from concept through launch.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as the primary liaison between clients, product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Drive alignment across teams and facilitate clear communication throughout the product lifecycle.
Take ownership of day-to-day payer product initiatives and execution.
Sales & Solution Support
Support prospect meetings, solution workshops, and product demonstrations.
Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams during business development efforts.
Help articulate product value and capabilities to prospective payer organizations.
Product Areas
This role will support and enhance a suite of payer-facing digital products and experiences, including member/broker/employer portal, provider search solutions, and digital ID card experiences.
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of experience in Product Management, Client Delivery, Implementation, or a related healthcare technology role.
Experience working with health plans, healthcare payers, or payer technology solutions.
Experience delivering consumer-facing digital products.
Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and product delivery skills.
Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and implementations.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Preferred
Experience with member, broker, employer, or provider-facing digital platforms.
Experience working for a healthcare technology vendor, consulting organization, or systems integrator.
Experience supporting pre-sales activities, product demonstrations, and solution design discussions.
Experience managing both client implementations and scalable product development initiatives.
Technical Background
Technical aptitude and comfort working closely with engineering teams is strongly preferred.
Prior experience in software development, solution architecture, engineering, or another technical discipline is a plus.
Ability to understand technical requirements, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
