Senior Product ManagerAre you interested in working with the teams that developed the Kindle, FireTV and Alexa? The Amazon Devices and Service Finance organization is expanding our technology team, and we are looking for a Senior Product Manager with expertise gathering requirements for financial planning and reporting systems, creating and maintaining technical plans and diving into the technical details to understand the nuances and complexities involved.This position will play an integral role in ensuring the systems are accurate and support the right financial and business analysis for the global finance organization. This role will support and enable the development and automation of complex reporting and analysis that delivers the right information to multiple layers of the Devices and Services organization.This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for customer focus and critical thinking and who can initiate and manage strategic system development across Devices and Services Finance organizations. This person will be expected to take ownership on an in-depth finance area. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, is analytical, AI-native, detail oriented and possesses the ability to work well with cross-functional teams including Devices and Services, finance, and multiple software development teams.Key job responsibilities:Developing and driving product vision and strategyManaging Fintech products throughout the product life cycleIdentifying business and technical requirements, including customer experience improvements, and prioritizing requests for software development teamsDevelop AI-native solutions and rapid prototypes and with knowledge-skill frameworksProviding analytical support, including prototypes and proofs of concept where helpfulEnsuring that standardization, automation, scalability, and agility are components of the systems and toolsInfluencing internal and external stakeholders on a shared vision with aligned expectationsBasic Qualifications:5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degreeExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on timeExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningExperience in building and driving adoption of new toolsPreferred Qualifications:Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other toolsExperience in financial modeling, or experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
