Job description
Production CoordinatorMonitor and coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and quality standardsResponsible for material availability at the stationOperating equipment and/or running stations within the lineAssist with machine and equipment setup and minor adjustments/troubleshootingServe as the first point of escalation for operators regarding process and equipment issuesProvide on-the-job training and coaching to new and existing team membersVerify first piece inspections and ensure compliance with quality standardsAssist with accurate production, downtime, scrap, and other production records and reportingEscalate production issues and coordinate resolutions, within escalation matrixIdentify opportunities for process improvements and communicate suggestions to supervisor and/or production managerSupport 5S and lean initiatives within the work areaServe as a liaison between operators and supervisors, relay shift updates and prioritiesParticipate in daily production meetings and provide feedback on team performanceAdhere to safety, quality, and production requirementsOther duties, as assigned.High school diploma or equivalent (technical or advanced training in manufacturing processes)Associate's degree preferred2-3 years of experience in a production environmentStrong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality requirements; ability to train other team members effectivelyAbility to interact and communicate effectively with team membersBasic computer skillsDrive the company culture by aligning and executing Elringklinger's core values
