Senior Program Controls SpecialistAs a Senior Program Controls Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the financial, scheduling, compliance, and operational control of projects from initial planning through installation, commissioning, and closeout. You will be responsible for maintaining visibility into project budgets, timelines, financial performance, risks, compliance, and overall project execution.In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Field Service, Installation teams, Finance, subcontractors, customers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with Honeywell standards. You will also provide program controls support to installation and systems implementation activities, helping teams understand project requirements, milestones, financial commitments, and potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.Building Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC Controls, Fire & Security, or other building systems experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have strong project controls and financial experience and understand how projects move through the complete lifecycle from planning and budgeting through installation, implementation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and closeout.ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage project budgets, costs, forecasts, and financial performanceDevelop and maintain project schedules, timelines, milestones, and deliverablesMonitor project performance and identify cost, schedule, and execution risksSupport installation and implementation teams throughout the project lifecycleTrack projects from planning and budgeting through installation, commissioning, customer acceptance, and closeoutPartner with Project Management, Finance, Engineering, Field Service, contractors, and other stakeholdersEnsure project compliance, reporting, and adherence to Honeywell processes and standardsProvide financial, schedule, and performance reporting to leadershipQualificationsYOU MUST HAVEBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, or related field6 or more years of experience in program controls, project controls, project management, or a related fieldStrong experience with project budgets, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost controlStrong understanding of project scheduling, timelines, and schedule controlExperience supporting projects through the full project lifecycleExperience identifying and mitigating cost, schedule, compliance, and execution risksStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively with Finance, Project Management, Engineering, Field Service, Installation, contractors, and customersWE VALUEBuilding Automation Systems (BAS), HVAC Controls, Fire & Security, or building systems experienceExperience supporting installation, implementation, commissioning, or field service projectsSAP experienceAdvanced Excel and financial reporting/forecasting skillsExperience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar scheduling toolsPMP or project controls certificationExperience with change management, scope control, earned value, or cost-to-complete forecastingExperience working in a matrix organization or global companyStrong stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skillsIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
