Job description
Persivia Inc. | Marlborough, MA (Hybrid)
Position Overview
Persivia is seeking an exceptional program leader to own a complex, high-priority engagement with a large health system client. We need someone who can take control of a complicated program, align multiple teams, manage senior client stakeholders, and drive the work to completion.
The right person will build trust with the client while having the judgment and confidence to challenge unrealistic expectations, control scope, and deliver difficult messages when necessary. This role starts hands-on as the program/project manager on this engagement; as Persivia grows and builds out a program management team, this person will transition into overseeing that team.
1. Program Ownership & Planning
Own the program/project plan, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.
Translate commitments made in calls into clear requirements, deliverables, and owners.
Control scope and clearly communicate the impact of changes.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
Lead client working sessions and executive steering meetings.
Hold Persivia and client stakeholders accountable for decisions and deadlines.
Build a strong client relationship without becoming passive or overcommitting Persivia.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
Coordinate Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Accounts teams around a single plan.
Identify delivery risks early and drive them to resolution.
Escalate issues quickly and recommend a clear path forward.
5. Reporting & Governance
Provide concise, fact-based reporting to client and Persivia leadership.
6. Team Growth
Work hands-on as the program/project manager initially.
Transition into overseeing a program management team as Persivia builds one out.
Required Qualifications
10+ years leading complex, client-facing technology programs.
Strong executive presence and exceptional client-management skills.
Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, conflict, and delivery pressure.
Experience managing programs with significant technical dependencies.
Excellent communication, organization, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Experience
Healthcare SaaS, digital health, population health, or care-management experience.
Familiarity with healthcare data, clinical workflows, EHR integrations, HIPAA, and PHI.
