Job description
Must Have:
AWS backend engineering ( IAM, VPC/networking basics, CloudWatch, S3, ALB/API Gateway, ECS/EKS or Lambda, and RDS/Aurora, MongoDB etc)
Python Backend API engineering
React (modern) + frontend engineering is preferred
Container platform (EKS/ECS scaling, service mesh basics, blue/green or canary deployments)
Responsibilities
Designed and developed scalable backend applications using Python, Flask, Django, and FastAPI, implementing RESTful APIs and microservices deployed on AWS cloud infrastructure.
Built responsive front-end applications using JavaScript, React.js, HTML5, and CSS3, integrating user interfaces with Python-based backend services and AWS-hosted APIs.
Developed and deployed cloud-native applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, and RDS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and secure data processing.
Implemented data processing and database integration using Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB, optimizing queries and improving application performance.
Automated application deployment and CI/CD workflows using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Docker, and Git, streamlining release management and ensuring consistent deployments.
Implemented application security, monitoring, and troubleshooting using AWS IAM, CloudWatch, and AWS Secrets Manager, ensuring secure access control, reliable application performance, and efficient production support.
