The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:Job Summary: Sr. Quality InspectorAn experienced quality inspector verifies incoming raw materials, parts, and vendor documentation against precise engineering standards and blueprints. This person examines high-tolerance Aerospace parts, assemblies, and materials to ensure they meet strict engineering drawings, safety rules, and quality standards. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to product integrity and compliance in a dynamic production setting. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of quality systems, regulatory compliance, and precision measurement techniques.What You Will DoConduct detailed quality inspections using precision measuring instruments including height gauges, vision inspection systems, and other dimensional measurement tools.Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final visual and dimensional checks on precision parts.Interpret mechanical blueprints, manufacturing documents, and GDT (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications for accurate assessment of product features.Utilize calibration data and measurement results to verify adherence to quality standards in production.Review and verify supplier certificates of conformance and material certification paperwork to ensure compliance with material, testing, and engineering requirements.Document and isolate defective or suspect items by issuing Non-Conformance ReportsRecord data accurately, complete First Article Inspection per AS requirementsAssist in the management of documentation retention.What You Will Bring:High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certification in a related field is a plus.4 to 8 years of quality inspection experience in an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment.Experienced in using precision measuring equipmentProficiency in reading blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and operating precision metrology equipmentMust pass a vision test to spot tiny defects and color differencesStrong knowledge of AS9100 standardsDue the nature of the work, you must be a US CitizenPay Range: $34/hour-$40/hourCompensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure.
