Quality Inspector$23.00 - $25.00/hour1st Shift7:00am - 4:00pmThe Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting products, verifying compliance with specifications, documenting quality results, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. This role helps ensure products meet quality standards while maintaining compliance with established procedures and industry requirements. They bring a continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to producing high-quality results.Quality Inspector Responsibilities:- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions- Perform inspections using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other metrology tools- Analyze inspection data and accurately document results- Identify and document nonconforming products and assist with corrective actions- Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality concerns- Maintain inspection records and quality documentation using computer systems- Participate in audits and quality system activities as needed- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures- Manage multiple priorities while working independently and as part of a teamRequirements for Quality Inspector:- Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents- Knowledge of measurement techniques and precision inspection equipment- Familiarity with GD&T and basic shop math preferred- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business software- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams- Experience with quality management systems or regulated manufacturing environments is a plus
