Job description

Join Les Schwab Tire Centers as a Recruiting Partner based in Bend, OR (onsite) . In this role, you will act as a strategic hiring partner for the Main Office and support leadership hiring across the company, combining full-cycle recruiting with workforce planning, labor market insight, and continuous improvement. You will help build stronger leadership pipelines while reducing reliance on external agencies through proactive sourcing and data-driven recruiting.

What you’ll do

Own full-cycle recruiting for Main Office and leadership positions , including intake meetings, sourcing strategy, candidate assessment, offer development, offer presentation and negotiation, and delivering a strong candidate experience.

Partner with Compensation and hiring leaders to ensure offers reflect market conditions , internal equity , and the company compensation philosophy.

Act as a strategic talent advisor by providing labor market intelligence, compensation insights, workforce planning support, organizational design input, and hiring recommendations that improve both hiring quality and business outcomes.

Build proactive sourcing approaches for hard-to-fill and leadership roles using talent mapping , networking, referrals, passive candidate engagement, and market research to minimize dependence on external recruiting agencies.

Coach hiring leaders on interviewing, candidate assessment, selection practices, employment branding, and market conditions to strengthen hiring capability and decision-making.

Track and analyze recruiting metrics , identify trends, recommend process improvements, and support recruiting technology initiatives, including Paradox . Participate in strategic Talent Acquisition projects.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent skills and experience.

7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting professional, corporate, technical, and leadership positions.

Experience partnering directly with senior leaders and hiring managers on workforce planning and hiring strategy.

Executive search or agency recruiting experience preferred .

Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred ).

Experience sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.

Strong understanding of recruiting analytics and labor market trends, with the ability to apply data to hiring decisions.

Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office .

Experience using recruiting technology and automation tools.

Business acumen and consultative partnership skills, with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, along with strong sourcing and talent assessment capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and influence without direct authority.

A continuous improvement mindset focused on exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment.

Work environment and physical requirements

The role is in a fast-paced office environment with frequent telephone use and long periods of computer work.

Primarily desk position; regularly required to sit, occasionally required to stand and walk.

Frequent and repetitive use of hands and fingers to operate a computer, mouse, keyboard, and office equipment; ability to reach with hands and arms.

Lifting requirement: no more than 20 pounds .

Vision abilities: close visual acuity and ability to adjust focus.

Must be able to communicate verbally and exchange information over the phone and in person.
