The GreyMatter Multiagent Orchestration (MAO) platform provides vendor agnostic fulfillment orchestration to continuously optimize performance in real time: the right order, with the right bot and agent, taking the right path and action. Currently operating more than 70 fulfillment sites across the globe (with deployments of 700+ robots at a single site), GreyMatter enables customers to decrease their fulfillment Cost Per Unit by 50%, reduce worker onboarding time by 90% and optimize peak season performance. In retail stores, our gStore end to end store execution and retail management solution supports omnichannel fulfillment, real time replenishment, intelligent workforce tasking and more. Using real time overhead RFID technology, the platform increases inventory accuracy up to 99%, doubles staff productivity, and enables an engaging, seamless in store experience.

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer & Consultant to join our dynamic Solutions Engineering & Design team. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in shaping next-generation automation solutions for order fulfillment and warehouse operations by leveraging the full breadth of the GreyOrange technology suite. You will play a key role in supporting our North American commercial teams, collaborating closely with customers, system integrators, 3PL partners, and internal teams across hardware, software, and product development. A strong background in data analytics, solution design, supply chain and warehouse operations, and experience within retail and eCommerce verticals is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert in aligning customer operations and business needs with GreyOrange’s automation and software solution.

Lead site visits, discovery workshops, and customer-facing presentations throughout the pre-sales and solutioning process.

Collaborate with Sales, Product, Solution Design, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to craft tailored, high-impact solution.

Prepare accurate and timely deliverables for sales pursuits, including data analysis, AutoCAD layouts, solution modeling, BOMs, and proposal material.

Collect and analyze customer data to inform solution design; translate data insights into clear visualizations to guide stakeholder.

Apply MOST methodologies to create engineered labor standards and productivity targets based on GreyOrange technologie.

Develop and deliver simulation models to validate proposed solutions and ensure alignment with customer KPI.

Use industry-specific knowledge to build compelling business cases and ROI models tailored to verticals such as retail, eCommerce, and grocery.

Partner with Product Management and R&D to influence future solution offerings, tools, and technology roadmaps based on market feedback and customer need.

Represent GreyOrange at trade shows and industry events, providing thought leadership in key market vertical.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

2–4 years of relevant experience in solution design, supply chain consulting, 3PL, industrial engineering, material handling, or warehouse automation.

Strong proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and presenting data-driven insight.

Experience designing or optimizing warehouse operations and labor standards using MOST methodology.

Skilled in 2D AutoCAD and familiar with warehouse storage and material handling system.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skill.

Strong time management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.

Willingness to travel 30–40% based on business and project requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Industrial Engineering; Master’s or MBA is a plus.

Experience designing warehouse automation or mechanized fulfillment solution.

Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD and warehouse simulation tool.

Background working with 3PL providers across solution design, operations, or business development.
