Staff Accountant (Hybrid)
Teaneck, NJ

Our client in Teaneck, NJ is anticipating the addition of a Staff Accountant to their accounting team. Key Responsibilities
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Maintain general ledger accuracy and integrity
Assist with financial reporting and month-end schedules
Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies
Support audit requests and year-end reporting requirements
Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of accounting experience preferred
Internship experience will be considered
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
