Robert Half is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) team in the Dayton area. As an FTEP, you will be a full-time employee of Robert Half and support clients on a variety of accounting engagements. This unique opportunity offers the stability of full-time employment while allowing you to expand your experience across different organizations, industries, accounting systems, and projects.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare and post journal entries
Complete account and bank reconciliations
Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
Support payroll-related accounting functions
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Work within various ERP and accounting systems
Support interim accounting needs, special projects, and process improvements
Adapt quickly to different client environments, systems, and priorities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
3+ years of accounting experience
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and processes
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
ERP experience with systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or JDE preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to new environments
