Staff or Senior Accountant (42924)
Our client is an organization in the Ozaukee County area that’s looking for a Staff Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3+ years of experience, has excellent communication skills, and is organized. This company offers internal growth opportunities, flexibility, and a collaborative team. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is up to $85K - $90K.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare journal entries, monthly account reconciliations, and assigned month-end close activities.
Assist with cost accounting analysis, financial reporting, and special projects.
Support AR and AP process improvements, including clerical support as needed.
Analyze and communicate monthly and annual financial statements accurately and timely.
Assist with the annual audit process, including coordinating with external auditors and addressing required changes.
Support annual budgeting, planning, and cash flow forecasting processes.
Help update accounting policies, procedures, and business practices while supporting ad hoc finance requests.
The Staff Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Associate degree in Accounting required.
3+ years of accounting experience preferred, ideally within manufacturing and using IQMS ERP.
Ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to set priorities and make sound decisions.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
