We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Middlefield, Ohio. This is a newly created role with room to take ownership, improve processes, and help shape how our accounting function evolves. What you’ll do
You’ll work closely with the Controller, FP&A Manager, colleagues across the business, vendors, banking partners, and our factoring provider. Your work will help keep our financial records accurate and support timely, reliable reporting.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Preparing account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
Maintaining fixed-asset records and accounting for capital expenditures and depreciation.
Managing wire payments from request review and verification through recording and vendor settlement.
Coordinating factoring reconciliations, repayments, and related accounting.
Investigating discrepancies, following up on outstanding items, and helping improve accounting processes.
What you’ll bring
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
Two or more years of general accounting experience is preferred.
Working knowledge of GAAP and confidence using Microsoft Excel.
Experience with an ERP or general-ledger system and online banking platforms.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
The ability to organize competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.
