Staff Accountant with Yardi – Coral Gables, FL

Company: Award-winning construction company based in Miami, Florida.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant with Yardi software expertise for a 2+ year Project / Construction role. Responsibilities

Reviewing budgets, including staffing, work plans, and fee structures.

Producing WIP (Work in Progress) reports.

Creating percentage‑of‑completion reports.

Providing project managers and clients with timely financial reports, budgets, and project forecasts.

Preparing pre‑billing reports for project managers to review.

Preparing actual cost, working capital, and tax reports.

Monitoring receivable income and supporting project managers with collections.

Issuing invoices and purchase orders, and paying consultant, subcontractor, vendor, and supplier bills.

Ensuring steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices in a timely manner.

Updating contracts according to client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

Construction industry accounting experience.

Proficiency in Yardi software (required).

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Job Details

Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday through Friday, normal business hours.

Salary: $70,000 + annual bonus.
