Job description
JCW is partnering with a well-established, highly regarded insurance carrier in New Jersey who is looking to bring on a Staff Attorney to focus in the workers' compensation space. This is an in-house position with a strong support structure and meaningful, varied caseload.
Job Responsibilities
Protect policyholder interests in litigated workers' compensation matters through settlement or decision
Handle complex litigation and develop litigation strategies in collaboration with policyholders
Provide case status updates, recommendations, and legal guidance to policyholders and claims staff
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers
Job Requirements
Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in New Jersey
Workers' compensation experience, including multiple jurisdictions
Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills
