Job description
Identify and source relevant data from multiple business domains
Ensure data quality and fitness for purpose
Develop and apply data strategies aligned with business objectives
Design, validate, and tune predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques
Create data visualizations tailored to stakeholder needs
Collaborate with UX/UI teams as required
Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations
Deploy and monitor models in production
Write, test, and document code supporting data science initiatives
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop scalable solutions, data pipelines, and search improvements
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years' experience in an analytics-related field; OR Master's degree in one of these fields and 2 years' experience; OR 6 years' experience in an analytics or related field
Strong expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms, and statistical hypothesis testing
Proficiency in Python
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Plotly, or Tableau
Experience with data strategy, data quality standards, governance, and scalable data storage solutions
Ability to assess, validate, and tune models using relevant evaluation metrics
Advanced analytical modeling techniques
Knowledge of deploying and monitoring models in production environments
Effective communication skills to present data insights and guide junior team members
Core Competencies
Demonstrates expertise in predictive analytics and machine learning, with a strong focus on data quality, strategy, and visualization. Proficient in Python and experienced in deploying models in production environments while effectively communicating insights to stakeholders.
