Job description
fomo is seeking a Staff Distributed Systems Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and performance of its multi-region backend platform in New York. You will manage critical shared infrastructure like datastores, caches, and messaging systems, ensuring predictable behavior during traffic surges and outages.
You will also implement disaster-recovery capabilities, define recovery objectives, and build testing to safely recover services and data.
