About This Role
The Staff Nurse in the Adult Emergency Department at NewYork-Presbyterian provides critical care during high-pressure situations, assessing conditions and coordinating multidisciplinary care. This role is ideal for experienced RNs who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $133,595 - $153,220/year

Schedule: Full-Time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Assess patient conditions and arrange multidisciplinary care.
Collaborate with paramedics, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Utilize advanced techniques such as induced hypothermia and digital radiology.
Provide care in a designated 911 receiving hospital with Level I Trauma Centers.
Organize teams to address emergency situations effectively.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
Experience:
At least 1 year of previous nursing experience required
Strong Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications:
Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
BCLS, ACLS, PALS certification required
Certifications in TNCC, CEN, ENPC, TPEN preferred
