About This Role
The Staff Nurse in Endoscopy at Mount Sinai Queens is responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patient needs, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to patient advocacy and professional practice.

What You'll Do
Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care.
Assess and evaluate patient needs and responses to care.
Provide direct, continuous care for a specific caseload of patients.
Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching and discharge planning.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Participate in performance improvement and nursing research activities.
Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for nursing practice.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
Coordinate discharge planning from admission to discharge.
Perform charge responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for all new graduates and experienced clinical nurse positions.
Experience
Preferred ENDO or Operating room experience.
Licenses & Certifications
Current RN License in New York.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification preferred.
