About This Role
The Staff Nurse provides nursing care and services to patients and families in a mixed MedSurg/Telemetry unit. This role is ideal for those who can demonstrate adaptability and strong interpersonal skills while delivering high-quality patient care.

Facility: Maui Memorial Medical Center
Department/Unit: Mixed MedSurg/Tele Unit 5
Schedule: Full-time, Night shift
What You'll Do
Provide nursing care and services to patients and families.
Delegate nursing care according to legal and regulatory guidelines.
Utilize nursing process to deliver care.
Administer medications.
Teach LPNs and nursing assistive personnel special tasks of nursing care.
Verify staff competency to perform special tasks of nursing care.
Serve as primary nurse/total patient caregiver.
Act as resource nurse and preceptor.
Take charge duties as assigned.
Accept responsibility for quality of nursing rendered.
Requirements
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience: One (1) year experience in area of specialty or completion of a formal course in area of specialty within a designated period after hire.
Current Registered Nurse License in Hawaii required at hire.
Basic Life Support OR CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers required.
