About This Role
The Staff Nurse II is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients, providing care through the nursing process and collaboration with the healthcare team. This role is ideal for nurses with recent experience in oncology practice.

Pay: $112 - $133/hour
Location: Sacramento, CA
Facility: S. Sacramento Hospital South
Schedule: On Call
What You’ll Do
Perform assessment/data collection focusing on various patient statuses.
Formulate goal-directed plans of care.
Implement care in a thorough and consistent manner.
Establish priorities based on patient needs and available resources.
Identify and meet patient/family learning needs.
Demonstrate awareness of patient/family rights and cultural beliefs.
Provide and coordinate care for patients/patient populations.
Establish effective working relationships with healthcare team members.
Evaluate effectiveness of care given by healthcare team members.
Participate in nursing research activities as requested.
Requirements
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
Experience: 1 year recent experience in oncology practice
Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse License (California)
Basic Life Support certification required
