About This Role

The Staff Nurse in the MT3 Neuro unit at UHS provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients with neurological and medical-surgical conditions. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about supporting patients recovering from complex medical issues.

Department/Unit: MT3 Med-Surg Neuro

Schedule: Full-time, Night shift

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $25,000

What You'll Do

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with neurological and medical-surgical conditions.

Support patients recovering from stroke and neurological disorders.

Promote safety, healing, and optimal outcomes for patients.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care.

Engage with patients and families to build trusting relationships.

Requirements

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing required

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing preferred

Experience: Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting preferred

Licenses & Certifications: Current NYS RN License required

Professional certification in a related nursing specialty preferred

Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned preferred
