About This Role
The Staff Nurse in the Oncology Clinic provides nursing care to patients while adhering to established standards and policies. This role is ideal for nurses with prior oncology experience who are looking to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Pay: $44 - $81/hour
Location: Olympia, WA

Schedule: Part-time, 16 hours/week
What You'll Do
Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients.
Develop a written plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient needs.
Assist patients and families in developing healthcare goals as part of the individualized care plan.
Provide nursing interventions safely and competently, including telephone consultations.
Evaluate patients' responses to care and modify plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Assess and plan care for patients requiring hospitalization, initiating discharge planning.
Communicate patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs during interactions.
Develop educational components for nursing care plans and provide teaching/counseling.
Integrate health promotion and preventive care into ongoing assessments.
Participate in continued education programs and quality assurance activities.

Current RN License in Washington
