About This Role
As a Staff Nurse in the Addiction Recovery Unit, you will provide safe, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering high-quality care.
Highlights
Pay : $133,595 - $153,220/year
Location : Bronxville, NY
Facility : NewYork-Presbyterian
Schedule : Full-time, Night shift (three 12-hour shifts plus an additional 8 hours biweekly)
What You'll Do
Provide safe, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs.
Promote recovery and support patients and families.
Ensure the highest standards of safety and quality.
Utilize clinical expertise and strong critical thinking skills.
Deliver evidence-based practice in patient care.
Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
Experience : At least 1 year of previous experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing preferred
Licenses & Certifications Current New York State RN license
BCLS certification (from accredited AHA organization)
Complete Nurse Residency Program if new graduate
