About The Job Staff Or Senior Accountant
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger oversight for active tours and events.
Support monthly/quarterly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition and expense reporting.
Track and analyze tour budgets vs. actuals; provide variance reporting and insights to management and artist reps.
Coordinate with tour managers and finance leadership to align on financial processes.
Monitor accounts payable/receivable and support cash flow tracking for individual tours.
Assist with audit preparation, tax support, and ongoing internal controls.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-4 years of general ledger accounting experience for Staff; 4-6+ years for Senior.
Background in live events, music, entertainment, or media accounting a plus
Comfortable working with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks); Excel proficiency required.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Passion for the music industry and touring culture is welcomed.
Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status Ability to work in the US with no need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Must-Haves Bachelors degree at a minimum General ledger accounting Journal entries Reconciliations Month end close Ability to work onsite in Los Angeles (Westwood), CA Monday-Thursday with Friday remote.
