Job description
A specialty pharmacy in Arlington, TN, seeks a motivated Staff Pharmacist ready to advance their career and grow with the company. This contract-to-hire opportunity suits newer graduates or pharmacists eager to learn and develop expertise in a supportive, low-volume clinical setting. The ideal candidate is driven with a strong work ethic and interested in long-term growth, including the unique potential to become a partial owner.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused therapies
Managing complex therapies such as factor replacement, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions
Educating patients and families on drug administration, side effect management, adherence, and safe medication handling at home
Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care
Assisting with benefits navigation, prior authorizations, and financial assistance alongside reimbursement specialists
Qualifications: Pharmacist license in Tennessee (required)
Arkansas license highly preferred, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses
CareTend pharmacy software experience highly preferred; training available for the right candidate
Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-focused care
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
