Job description
Staff Pharmacist
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to provide safe, effective medication management in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role involves acute care, clinical pharmacy, sterile compounding, and collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense and verify medications according to prescriptions and hospital protocols.
Provide clinical support in ICU, ER, oncology, pediatrics, trauma, and pain management.
Assess patients and develop appropriate pharmacotherapy plans.
Prepare IV medications and perform sterile compounding using aseptic techniques.
Document medications and patient information using EHR and Pharmacy Information Systems.
Ensure regulatory compliance, medication safety, and accurate documentation.
Support and precept pharmacy students/residents as applicable.
Requirements
Active Pharmacist license.
Hospital/acute care pharmacy experience.
Experience in ICU, ER, trauma, or other critical-care settings.
Strong clinical knowledge in oncology, pediatrics, critical care, or pain management.
Experience with EHR/EMR and pharmacy systems.
Pharmacy residency or post-residency experience preferred.
Sterile compounding experience and multiple state licenses are a plus.
