Job description
A digital/mail order pharmacy is seeking a contract pharmacist to support an increasing workload following the addition of a new fulfillment client. This role involves dispensing non-insurance medications, primarily generics with some brand and specialty drugs, shipped across all 50 states and DC. The pharmacy maintains a fast-paced environment, emphasizing accuracy and teamwork.
Location: Fairfield, OH
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, starting ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Perform full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment, including verifying prescriptions and accuracy
Supervise pharmacy technicians ensuring efficient workflows
Adapt quickly to changing volume and workflow demands
Collaborate effectively with the team to maintain high productivity and quality standards
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Current Kentucky pharmacy license required; candidates licensed in Cincinnati, OH should verify KY licensure
Proven experience in high-volume retail pharmacy preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment
