Job description
This opportunity seeks a skilled Staff Pharmacist to contribute expertise in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of dispensing medications, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations. Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients, ensuring correctness and safety
Review and verify prescriptions for drug interactions, allergies, and dosage accuracy
Counsel patients on proper medication use and potential side effects
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
Maintain accurate records and comply with all legal and regulatory requirements
Manage inventory, order medications, and oversee pharmacy operations as needed
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid pharmacist license in the state of California
Experience as a staff pharmacist in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosages, and regulations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
