Job description
Located in Camden, NJ, this direct hire position offers an opportunity for a skilled Staff Pharmacist to work in a closed-door, long-term care facility. The role focuses on daily medication management and oversight, supporting efficient pharmacy operations within a high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial and final medication reviews using Frameworks software (training provided)
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Manage an average volume of approximately 600 prescriptions per day
Adhere to scheduled shifts, including rotating every 3rd weekend and select holiday coverage
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Every 3rd weekend rotation with shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Minimum coverage required for one summer and one winter holiday
Qualifications/Desired Experience: Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license required
Previous pharmacy experience, ideally in a high-volume environment
Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy under fast-paced conditions
Willingness to learn new software systems (Frameworks)
