Job description
A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to work in a closed-door long-term care (LTC) setting. This role focuses on managing medication distribution and ensuring safe pharmaceutical practices in a high-volume environment, supporting patient care with accuracy and efficiency.
Location:
Cherry Hill, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (Day Shift)
Rotating every 3rd weekend with shifts on Saturday and Sunday from either 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Minimum of one summer and one winter holiday required
Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial medication reviews using the Frameworks software system (training provided)
Perform final medication verification and checks
Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and workflow efficiency
Dispense medications accurately and timely, managing roughly 600 prescriptions daily
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active and clear NJ Pharmacist license
Previous pharmacy experience, preferably in a high-volume setting
Ability to work efficiently and maintain accuracy under pressure
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
