Job description
A Hospital Pharmacist position is available in Farmington, NM, offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with a 7-on/7-off day schedule. This role is ideal for professionals seeking to engage closely with hospital teams and expand their clinical pharmacy experience.
Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders and IV preparations accurately.
Oversee and coordinate pharmacy technician tasks to ensure workflow efficiency.
Utilize Cerner pharmacy software for prescription management.
Operate Pyxis dispensing cabinets for medication distribution.
Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide excellent patient care.
Qualifications: Licensed pharmacist in the state of New Mexico.
Minimum of 2 years hospital pharmacy experience.
Proficient in Cerner pharmacy software.
Familiarity with Pyxis dispensing systems.
Available to start as soon as possible.
Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off.
Day shifts with some flexibility to meet hospital staffing requirements.
