Job description
This opportunity is ideal for a Staff Pharmacist with 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience seeking to work in a specialty retail environment focused on sterile and non-sterile compounding. The role offers a contract-to-hire arrangement with a possibility of direct hire after a 13-week assignment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and dispense medications accurately, including both sterile and non-sterile compounded products
Manage order entry using PK software (training provided)
Counsel patients on proper medication usage and safety
Ensure compliance with state pharmacy regulations and quality standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Qualifications: Valid North Carolina pharmacy license is required
Minimum 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience
Sterile compounding experience is highly desirable
Experience with non-sterile compounding is a plus
Ability to learn and use PK pharmacy software (training available)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break
Position duration: 13 weeks with potential for direct hire
