Job description
A Retail Staff Pharmacist position is available within a busy regional grocery store pharmacy setting in Minnesota. This ongoing contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent pharmacist position, with an immediate start date. The pharmacy operates with strong technician support, a newly installed robotic dispensing system, and utilizes the EnterpriseRx order entry system.
Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
40 hours per week with some flexibility for relief coverage
Monday is the pharmacy's busiest day; candidates should be comfortable managing higher volume early in the week
Responsibilities: Accurately dispense prescriptions in a retail setting with an average weekly script volume of approximately 600
Utilize the EnterpriseRx system efficiently to process orders and manage workflow
Provide excellent patient communication and counseling to ensure safe and effective medication use
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff in a well-supported, team-oriented environment
Maintain compliance with Minnesota pharmacy laws and regulations
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Retail pharmacy experience is required
Experience with EnterpriseRx preferred or ability to quickly learn the system
Licensed pharmacist in Minnesota or willingness to obtain licensure
Strong communication skills and patient-focused approach
Reliable, consistent, and motivated to commit long-term to a permanent role
