Job description
An opportunity is available for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Staff Pharmacist focused on retail pharmacy operations. This contract position is based locally in Hollywood, FL, offering part-time hours to support a busy pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety
Provide thorough patient counseling to support medication adherence and health outcomes
Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow and compliance with regulations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on pharmacy policies, procedures, and best practices
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed and certified to practice as a pharmacist in the state of Florida
Experience in retail pharmacy settings with a strong understanding of prescription verification and patient care
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and team members
Ability to supervise staff and manage day-to-day pharmacy operations confidently
Location: Hollywood, FL (Local candidates preferred)
Schedule: Part-time, Day Shift: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
