Job description
A retail pharmacy opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support a community pharmacy in Winamac, IN. This contract role involves filling orders, verifying technician-prepared products, and maintaining the security of pharmacy operations and controlled substances. The position requires strong attention to detail and accuracy in entering orders and patient information.
Responsibilities:
Accurately fill and verify prescriptions and technician-prepared products prior to release
Maintain security and compliance of pharmacy and controlled substances
Enter patient and order information using PioneerRx (experience preferred)
Provide reliable retail pharmacy services adhering to facility policies and procedures
Participate in scheduled weekend coverage every other Saturday
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Must hold a valid Indiana Pharmacist license
Previous retail pharmacy experience required
Proficiency with PioneerRx order entry system preferred
Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy standards
Strong organizational and communication skills
Schedule/Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Every other Saturday coverage from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Additional Information: Three days of paid training and orientation are required prior to starting the assignment
