Job description
Seeking an experienced Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week retail pharmacy assignment in New Concord, OH. This contract opportunity requires a dedicated professional to manage varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, providing quality pharmaceutical services in a busy retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Counsel patients on proper medication usage and potential side effects.
Manage inventory and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules.
Maintain proper documentation and handle prescription processing using pharmacy systems.
Qualifications: Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.
Minimum of 1 year current retail pharmacy experience.
Vaccination certification required upon application.
Familiarity with RX30 pharmacy system is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
This role offers a full-time schedule at 40 hours per week with varied shifts to fit operational needs.
