This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist in a retail setting, located locally in Hollywood, FL. This part-time contract position spans 13 weeks and offers a consistent day shift schedule, ideal for pharmacists seeking a predictable work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately verify prescriptions to ensure patient safety
Provide patient counseling, addressing medication use, side effects, and health questions
Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring compliance with protocols and efficiency
Maintain high standards of pharmacy practice and customer service
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed pharmacist with current state pharmacy licensure
Experience in retail pharmacy environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients
Ability to supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians
Familiarity with prescription verification processes and pharmacy regulations
Location: Hollywood, FL (6401 Sheridan Street)
Position is local only, no travel required
Schedule: Part-time hours, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
