Job description
Two retail pharmacist opportunities are available in Upstate New York, starting immediately with a 13+ week contract duration. These roles are focused on delivering expert pharmaceutical care in a busy retail setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and accurately fill prescriptions in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Provide thorough patient counseling to ensure understanding of medication usage and potential side effects.
Supervise pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
Maintain accurate records and manage inventory effectively.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience: Valid New York Pharmacist license.
Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.
Location: Positions are located in Upstate New York, with openings in Johnson City and Trumansburg.
Scheduling: Contract roles with a minimum duration of 13 weeks.
