nDescription:
nPosition Purpose
nEnsures the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals through their proper storage, handling, evaluation, preparation, compounding, labeling and dispensing in conjunction with state and federal regulations and departmental policies
nWhat you will do
nnnMaintains proper records, documentation and provides complete communication as appropriate.
n
nnFollows department guidelines with regard to clinical interventions and provides drug information as required and/or requested
n
nnSupervises pharmacy technicians and maintains efficient workflow of the area they are working in
n
nnAdvises other health care professionals on drug interactions, incompatibilities, side effects, and proper administration of medications
n
n nMinimum Qualifications
nnnB.S. degree in Pharmacy; Doctor of Pharmacy Degree preferred
n
nnMassachusetts Pharmacist License
n
nnBoard Certification preferred
n
nnPGY1 Residency training preferred
n
n nPosition Highlights and Benefits

nRate is based on experience, skills, and education.
