Job description
A retail pharmacist position is available in Johnson City, NY, starting immediately with a contract duration of 13 weeks or more. This role is ideal for professionals licensed to practice pharmacy in New York who have some experience in a retail setting.
Responsibilities:
Verify and accurately fill prescriptions
Provide counseling to patients on medication use and safety
Oversee and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
Ensure proper inventory management and medication storage
Qualifications: New York State Pharmacist license is required
Prior retail pharmacy experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
