nNow Hiring: Staff Pharmacist
nAre you a patient-focused Pharmacist looking for a rewarding opportunity in the Metro Lexington, KY area? We’re seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy team and play an important role in delivering safe, effective, and personalized medication care.

n nPharmacy Hours
nThe pharmacy is currently operating the following schedule:
nnnMonday–Friday: 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
n
nnSaturday: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM
n
nnSunday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
n
n nAnticipated Future Schedule
nHours are expected to expand to:
nnnMonday–Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
n
nnWeekends: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
n
n nWhat You'll Do
nAs a Staff Pharmacist, you will help ensure patients receive safe, accurate, and effective medication therapy while providing exceptional patient care.
nKey Responsibilities:
nnnReview, verify, and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
n
nnCounsel patients regarding medications, side effects, interactions, and proper use
n
nnAssess prescriptions for appropriate dosing, potential interactions, and medication safety
n
nnCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
n
nnAdminister immunizations and provide other clinical pharmacy services as authorized
n
nnSupervise and support pharmacy technicians and interns
n
nnAssist with medication inventory, ordering, storage, and control
n
nnMaintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
n
nnMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
n
nnParticipate in quality assurance and medication safety initiatives
n
nnMaintain continuing education and licensure requirements
n
n nQualifications
nnnDoctor of Pharmacy ( PharmD ) degree from an accredited institution
n
nnActive Kentucky Pharmacist License in good standing
n
nnStrong knowledge of pharmaceutical care, drug therapy, and medication safety
n
nnExcellent communication and patient-service skills
n
nnAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
n
nnProficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records
n
