We seek a Staff Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.

Genoa Healthcare On-site Pharmacy Tour
Pharmacy is located within the following clinic:
Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services, 245 Hairston Street, Danville, VA 24540.
Schedule will be one day a week (flexible) within the Monday-Friday, 830am-500pm Pharmacy hours with ability to pick up shifts as needed including a full time assignment for 3 months starting in April.
Primary Responsibilities:
Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
Provides information to customers about medications and their use
Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service
Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacyor PharmD
Ability to work 1 day a week within the Mon-Fri, 8:30-5:00 Pharmacy schedule with ability to pick up shifts as needed/available.
Current pharmacist license in state of Virginia
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44.00 to $79.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
