nAs a per diem, nonexempt Staff Pharmacist you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a direct impact by ensuring the accuracy of medication orders, verifying technician-prepared products, and safeguarding controlled substances. You'll contribute to a high-performing team by mentoring new staff, maintaining seamless daily operations, and supporting the Director in optimizing pharmacy performance.
nSchedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage for PTO or as needed up to 5 hours per week.
nLocation: Emerus, the nation's first and largest operator of neighborhood hospitals, has incorporated a new paradigm into patient care that has significantly improved access to health care for thousands of people, many of whom live in underserved areas where high-quality patient-centric acute episodic and ambulatory clinical services are needed most. This position is located in Menomonee Falls, WI.
nPharmacy Hours: The pharmacy utilizes Epic and Omnicell. Pharmacy hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm. Remote pharmacy services are provided.
nPrimary Responsibilities:
nnnReview, verify, and dispense medication orders to ensure appropriateness, safety, and accuracy
n
nnProvide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
n
nnCollaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication regimens for hospitalized patients
n
nnMonitor patient outcomes and medication safety, identifying and preventing adverse drug events
n
nnEnsure regulatory and accreditation compliance, including DNV, state, and federal requirements
n

nRequired Qualifications:
nnnBA/BS degree from an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school
n
nnCurrent Wisconsin Pharmacist license in good standing
n
nnProficient computer skills with pharmacy systems and Microsoft Office
n
nnTravel up to 10%
n
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnnPharmD
n
nn1+ years of recent acute care inpatient pharmacist experience
n
n nPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $44 - $79 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
