This contract-to-hire position offers ongoing part-time hours with a flexible mix of day and evening shifts, including rotating weekends, aligning with pharmacy operating hours that extend into evenings and weekends.
Key Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Part-time, mix of day and evening shifts
Pharmacy Hours: Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Weekends/Holidays 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Location: Sparta, MI
Responsibilities: Execute comprehensive long-term care pharmacist duties, including PV1 and PV2 roles.
Supervise and guide pharmacy technicians.
Prepare, compound, and verify both sterile and non-sterile medications including IVs and TPNs.
Manage multi-dose and blister packing responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Utilize the Frameworks system for pharmacy operations; training available if needed.
Qualifications and Experience: MI pharmacist license in-hand and in good standing.
Highly preferred experience in long-term care settings with proficiency in PV1 and PV2 functions.
Skilled in hands-on compounding and verification processes for a variety of medication types.
Previous exposure to the Frameworks system is advantageous but not mandatory.
