Job description
A growing digital/mail order pharmacy specializing in non-insurance medications requires an experienced pharmacist to manage increased volume due to a new client partnership. This contract opportunity is based in West Chester, OH, with an immediate start and extends for approximately 13 weeks.
The role involves full-cycle pharmacy dispensing and fulfillment, including verifying prescriptions and supervising pharmacy technicians. You will predominantly dispense generic medications along with some brand-name and specialty drugs to customers across all 50 states and DC. The shift is Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 10 PM.
Ideal candidates have a background in high-volume retail pharmacy environments and are licensed in Kentucky (KY). Pharmacists currently practicing in Cincinnati, OH, should confirm if they hold KY licensure as well, given the licensing requirements. Success in this role depends on adaptability to evolving workflows and a collaborative attitude to meet the demands of increased order volume efficiently.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Valid pharmacist license in KY is required
Proven experience working in high-volume retail pharmacy settings
Strong skills in supervising pharmacy technicians and ensuring accurate dispensing
Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced workflows and maintain teamwork
